One of the first “all me” projects I worked on at Modell’s as both creative director and designer was their spring 2014 women’s and kid’s 12-page direct mail piece mailed to their MVP database.
I had the pleasure of once again collaborating with photographer Dennis Kleiman (ongoing for 20 years) on the on-model shoot. We worked with the talent to give the photos a fun, festive and athletic attitude. You have fun when you exercise, right?
Back at Modell’s in house photo studio I worked with Jason VanBlaricum on the product shots who does all of their product shots from footwear to snowpants.
From a collaborative design perspective, my senior designer Peter Ahn and I went for a clean, fresh and colorful design motif, that spoke of tech and energy as well as highlighting their brands and their assortments.
Very enjoyable project that sprouted legs to e-mail campaigns and an online shop at modells.com
